Welcome to Addi Mae Co. We handcraft our products in small batches just outside of Chicago. We hope you find the answers to your questions below. If you need more information please drop us a line on our contact page.
Why Soy Wax?
We love using Soy to craft our melts for several reasons. Soy is clean burning and a natural renewable resource. It's non-toxic and our Soy is American farmed, kosher, and hypo-allergenic, making it an Eco-friendly and healthy choice for home fragrance.
Do You Use Any Dyes?
Nope. Dyes are typically derived from crude coal tar. Purity is important to us and keeping our melts as pure as possible allows for the Eco-friendly burn we know you'll love so.
What Kind of Fragrance Oils?
We use only the best premium grade fragrance oils and occasionally an infusion of essential oils. Most essential oils have a low flash point making them dangerous to heat which is why we only use them where we can assure product safety.
Soy Melt Safety
Avoid eye contact. For external use only. Only use for as long as recommended by tart warmer manufacturer. Do not leave plugged in overnight. Use with an electric tart warmer that is UL listed for safety assurance. Use warmer on a clean, flat surface out of direct sunlight and drafts and away from flammable materials, pets, and children. Do not overfill tart warmer, or add anything except our soy melt to the warmer. If melted wax spills, allow to cool and harden. Wax will easily scrape up.
We ship anywhere in the US! Each product is lovingly hand-crafted and packaged carefully.
Your items will be sent to the address provided by you at checkout, unless otherwise noted when you order. Once payment is received, pieces are wrapped and shipped within 1-3 days via USPS PRIORITY MAIL (domestic, within the US) and normally takes 2-3 days to arrive. Unless you specify otherwise the default method of shipping will be USPS PRIORITY MAIL. Please contact me if you need something quicker and we can work out an alternative. Currently we ship to the U.S. only.
We will send items as a gift to an address and recipient you may specify at checkout. We may contact you if we have questions regarding your order. We can include a gift note to your recipient for you. Please specify at checkout if the item is a gift and include your message in the notes section. This option does not include gift wrapping. Gift wrapping options are available for an additional fee, please contact me prior to purchase to discuss the details of your order and gift packaging options.
We want you to be head-over-heels happy with your purchase. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, contact us within 2 days of receiving your item and we can arrange a refund or store credit minus any shipping costs. Items must be returned in the same condition they were received in. Any damaged items will be replaced. Wholesale orders refer to the wholesale agreement.
